Feeding
We are trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding. SOS stands for Sequential-Oral-Sensory. This approach focuses on interacting and engaging with various foods in a sensory-sensitive manner in order to provide the child with a comfortable feeding environment.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
We take a special interest in AAC to assist children with granting them access to communication. We work to ensure that each child is provided with the device that works for them and their family.
Early Intervention
We provide consultative, coaching and direct services within early intervention. Our methods are based on the whole family approach and teaching the family how to engage and interact with their child to effectively assist with their communication skills.
Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)
We have taken multiple trainings in CAS with a special interest in DTTC, which stands for Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing. This method is based on motor patterns to assist the child with making the correct motor movements for speech production.
Autism
We are a neuro-diversity affirming company, which means we do not try to “fix” your child, but rather we aim to use your child’s strengths to assist with their wants and needs. We are trained in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), which provides an in-depth look into how children communicate with echolalia or scripting.
