At Sunny Speech, we aim to provide the highest quality of personalized care for each child. We believe in all forms of communication and honoring the wants and needs of the children we serve. Our goal is to shine a light on the strengths of each child, empowering them to confidently use any communication style to engage and build relationships with the world around them.
Meet Brooke!
Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist
My educational training began with my Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and Master’s at the University of Pittsburgh’s renowned Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Since my education, I have worked in a variety of settings including early on, pediatric outpatient clinics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and schools. Within each site, I have learned and grown a lot, but I have also realized that the constraints of these institutions limit the creativity, time and attention I can spend with each child.
That is why I have created Sunny Speech.
I aim to provide families with the tools they need to build a language rich environment for their children to thrive and grow. I care deeply about the neurodiverse community, advocating for their goal to bring awareness and acceptance of their wants and needs. My services expand to children with feeding disorders, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), speech sound production skills, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and early intervention. I look forward to meeting you and your families!
In-person and remote options
We understand that you are busy. So, we offer virtual, at-home and external speech therapy services 6 days a week! We also offer flexible scheduling with varying session lengths to ensure your child is getting the care and attention they need.
